colonial knives MIM cast blades?

Colonial knives, USA made are now making blades out of MIM castings. Anyone own one of these knives? How sharpe can you can them?

I have never read anything about it in the cutlery field, but we have been doing investment casting at least 30 years. I heard/read about this type a couple of years back because some US firearm manufacturers were making some parts this way, Ruger is one.
I had an FFL up until the early 90's and kept up with stuff like that.
I do not know what alloy they (Colonial) are using, but what I have seen and looked over on firearms, medical/dental implants, jewelry findings; These parts appear machined or die struck and hold up well. No mold lines, porosity or other defects. It looks & feels dense and the detail is sharp.
If the alloy/metal is dense enough and treated right, it should hold an edge. How good or long is another question.
Basically in my understanding; It is just a cheaper & faster way to mass produce parts and maintain QC. I would guess and say they are tumble finished also.
