Case, Rough Black, Swelled Jack

I have Rough Black case, Looks like 6235. It is Case Tested. Is it true Case used no pattern numbers on these knives for the most part? 1920-1940. The knife is in very good condition. Approx value? Tnx Ron

Yes it is true that most tested era knives did not have pattern numbers. A few of the very early ones did.
