A Queen is a Queen.

Hello, As a collector of Queen knives I thought I would ask what others think about Queen made reproduction knives like; Case classic, Winchester, Remington, and lately Northwoods. All of these are nice knives and I own some of each; But my question is: Are these not just Queen knives with different tang stamps? P.S. I tried to share a photo of my latest Northwoods Railsplitter but was not succesfull, Sorry.

yes basically queen knives with various tangstampings.

I agree - best of both worlds for the collector. Here is a Bulldog made by Queen in 1995 - a prototype Sowbelly Whittler in stag and another prototype in Green Bone. They are Queens, but they are Bulldogs also.
Not cracks in the stag - no seperation under magnification - appear to be veins or vascular structures.

Just my 2p These knives will be like the [Schrade Camillus Case ETC] contract knives made in the past. They will be valued for their quality. Knife collectors of the future will know who made it as well as who's name is on it. [JMO].

Thanks for your comments friends, I value them becouse I realize your appreciation for fine knives. I just feel that the fine crafts-people at Queen do not get the credit they deserve from the thousands of people who buy these knives not realizing who made them. If I was the King of Queen I would be temped to stamp A "Q" inside the linning.
