All About Pocket Knives

As some of you know, I joined this site not too long ago. Had inherited a collection of mostly Case beauties from my Dad. I knew nothing about them. I researched in several books, this site and when I just couldn't figure something out, I would ask a question on this site.

Even if you thought I sounded like an ignorant fool, you never answered with anything but courtesy and the best information from some really experienced collectors. I never asked unless I REALLY needed to know and I always figured somebody would tell me what a goon I was. Never happened.

I'm still learning and go to this site everyday. It's a wonderful site and the scope of knowledge held by the members is unbelievable. What amazes me is that this covers every part of this country and a few others. It's almost as tight a brotherhood as the Marines. oorah

Thank you for posting this and your true feelings.

I have a feeling you will become a ture and freindly member your self. The more you check in at AAPK the more you will learn and we hope pass on to the info some day too. As you can tell there is a lot of work that goes in makeing a knife. The history is also a big part of a knife. Books are a gr8 way to get help. If you see any old ones pick it up and save it.

I am glade that you ask some "ignorant fool" questions as you called them. We can full in some of those....
