i have two nice etched canoes. is there a way to count the dots for year of manufacture? they're both under the bolsters. and i've looked every which way to no avail.

I can only narrow it down a little - they started the etching of the Canoe on the blade in 1974.

correct, i was just hoping somebody might have a way to determine. i guess you just say it's a 74 to 79 canoe.
