looks to me like the tang was welded or heated to restamp it. look at the grinder marks near the plunge line and the steel has started to decarbonize from severe heat (see the blisters?) not only that like you said the bone and shield is wrong. The tang looks a might shaved too. Talk about a hiens 57

I agree with Muskrat Man about the restamping.
I would add that the main clip blade is not even a Case blade at all, it is just not the same shape, grind, and swedges as a genuine 92 pattern master blade. Apparently someone restamped an off brand blade and put it into an authentic XX or USA era 6392 frame.
Its sad that the fakes go for such high $$.
I have bought nice authentic green bone Testeds on Ebay for not much more than the final price on that one.
