just acquired this dead mint old 110. I believe it to be a 4th version 2nd varient

Nice pictures! 3 rivet 110s bring back a lot of memeries. Can not remember how I got my first one but it was a "keeper". Of course I lost it. bought a new one(4 rivet) to replace it, but it just wase'nt the same. That first one sharpened so easy and held an edge so well I always remembered it as carbon steel blade, just did'nt need the same care as Schrade. Late teens, enough said?

I like the narrower thinner frame of the old 3 rivit 110's I have probably 6 or 7 of them with a couple different tangstamps. I just cannot "get into" collecting the 110's by year code, from the 80's and 90's If it's got 3 rivits and a narrow frame it goes in the keeper roll. Everything else gets filework and/or new handles.
