Hello from the UK

Hi all,
I'm George from Bristol in the UK.
I am an amateur pocket/folding/pen knife collector. A collection started by my Dad and passed on to me!
I am new to this business and it's only recently I've decided to start doing the research and finding out the in's and out's of knife collecting and checking out what knives I have.
So I can expect I'll be a frequent visitor to this site from now on trying to catch onto the lingo and so on and so forth!

I'm mostly an amateur collector, with various knives that have been picked up at carboot sales and antiques fairs. So would be looking for little treasures like that! Recently tried to get my hands on a lot of 16 knives on eBay including a RCMP (royal canadian mounted police) pocket knife which would have been a cracker for me as my Dad's family hails from Canada. It also had a CocaCola pocket knife, a few Case blades and so on. Unfortunately eBay won't let me buy knives over here in the UK as it's trying to cut down on the circulation of blades here! They're not illegal at all just they'd rather not sell them!
But lots of blades are illegal here like push blades, disguised blades, flick knives, automatic opening knives, gravity knives. Basically any knife which has assisted opening!
Also dabble in a few more up to date blades. Nothing special at all, no Spyderco or anything like that just yet. Closest I got to that is an M-Tech USA blade which I acquired recently for like a tenner or something!
Just beginning to get my head round all the lingo!
