Long time lurker, first--well, second--time poster here. (I use the same handle at Bladeforums). Came here looking for a few knives in particular, after realizing I'd rather not waste my time on the 'Bay trying to find stuff. I'll get a WTB posted sometime soon.
Not much time for playing with knives lately, so I've focused on my EDC stuff, my ever-growing TL-29 collection, and some experiments in bone-dying. Someday maybe I'll have time to fix-up my own users, for now the stuff in need of repairs just accumulates.
There is no truth to the rumor that I collect scout knives; they just follow me home.

TL-29 collection?

Those things made me hate Camillus for a long time. LOL
After nearly cutting my finger off with one of the darn things in the Tonkin Gulf, I sent several of them "over the side". As soon as that blade lock got the least bit loose, I float checked it.
They all failed the float check..
I'm pretty new here too, but I sure am enjoying the forum and the good folks here.

I have noticed the same problem keeps happening to me. Three or four showed up just last week. How bout posting some pics of your scouts?
Also, one of our members, AllenMcB has created a web site devoted to Boy Scout knives which might interest you. Here's a link.

Once again, welcome.

Welcome coffeecup ;
I to call my self an accumulator and not a collector.
Perhaps cuz I buy what I like and see at the time and not just a patern or company.
I feel collectors have a main goal in mind to get. And passup a lot of sweet ones that need a good warm home...
