Gentlemen,

I was looking at some pictures of the Yellow Horses handy work customizing Case knives. What is the general opinion on the quality of workmanship and does it add or subtract from the value of the knife? Your opinions and expertise is appreciated.

Just my opinion, Newbie, but I think the Yellowhorse touch adds hugely to the value of a knife. Or, at least to the cost of it. I cannot tell you whether or not, if you buy one at retail price today, it will increase hugely in future. No one can tell you that with certainty. But you will have a very nice, well-crafted knife you will long appreciate, as would your heirs. I'm eyeing one of the recent Remington toothpicks as I collect that pattern. I find the price (about $200) to be reasonable for what I'd be getting.

I recently purchased a nice done by one of David Yellowhorse's former workers, named Doris Yazzie. It's a very well done Schrade, and was priced at $59. I think it is a bargain.
