Up for auction to benefit AAPK. Yellow, synthetic handles. Looks like it has been carried a little but never sharpened. 4&1/2" closed.
Full blade etch. Pattern #1LA. Made in 1994.
It's a dandy, just needs a little clean up.
Sale starts now, ends Sunday, Feb.8th at 2000hrs(8pm) CST. High bidder sends the money to Bryan and I will send you the knife and I will pay the postage. Fair enough?
Anybody else up for this? The Club can always use a little more money to help pay expenses.

Thanks a lot for the bids, Ya'll. I think I am going to throw in another, yellow handled, American made knife as a bonus. It is a fish knife, still has most of the factory shine on it. The only markings on it are etched on the blade... Says, "Fisherman's Pride, over stainless steel". Has the hook sharpener in the handle. I think it was made by either Schrade or Camillus.

I really enjoy AAPK. Good bunch of Folks. I certainly don't mind donating a knife or two a year to help keep it going. Bryan is as good as gold and since we don't pay any dues, I don't mind helping.
Anybody else up for this? Every little bit helps.

Hi, ya'll...
Sorry it took so long to get back to you on this, but we've been helping to make the arrangements for my oldest Sister, to bury her Husband, here, in the family plot. Also, Debbie had surgery today and I have been at the hospital. Thank goodness I got to bring her home. She'll be OK in a few days.
NOW! Looks like philco was the high bidder but his generous bid came in(technically) after the auction closed. What do ya'll suggest we do? Johnny and philco (a)arm rassle for it? (b) have a shoot-out at sunrise? (c) have a beauty contest (d.) See which one does the best Michael Jackson moonwalk (e) none of the above? (f) all of the above?
Seriously, Johnnie won it fair and square. If he would like to let philco have it, don't matter none to me, it's all for the good of AAPK.
One of you send me an address.

Mr. Fain,
You are a true gentleman. I certainly was not looking forward to a gunfight or a beauty contest.

CCBill,
PM has been sent to you with my info.
You have my sympathy on the loss of your brother in law. Hope Miss Debbie is doing OK. You take care of her and don't worry about sending the knife to me till life settles down for you.

Phil

Dang! In the little, informal poll I took, it came back a resounding" (d.) See which one does the best Michael Jackson moonwalk " ::paranoid::
Hmmmm... Interesting. I'd give a dollar to see that. Wouldn't you??? ::nod::
Seriously, if you will look at the donated funds account balance, you can see where the money goes. No way Bryan should have to pay all that out of his pocket.
As you have seen, it doesn't have to be an expensive knife. Any donation is greatly appreciated. ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

I just recieved my two knives in the mail courtsey of CCBill, and I want to publicly thank him for his generous donation to help support AAPK. Both of the knives he sent me are in super condition and both are well made knives any collector would be proud to own. I only wish I could get ebay sellers to ship so quickly. :P

CCBill, I'm stll working on that MOON WALK thing. Haven't quite gotten the hang of it just yet. Can you post a video showing us how it's done?

Well, here we have it, the next big fund raiser for AAPK: THE PHIL & JOHNNIE MOON WALK-OFF! ::tu::

Johnnie & Phil; you each submit your Moon Walk video to Bill. Bill will forward it to Bryan who will post it where we can watch it.
We each pay $1.00 to vote for the the best Moon-Walker of the too.

(one rule on the video Phil & Johnnie; they cannot be filmed on the street, because then you would be street-walkers)! ::ds::

What do you guys think?
