I had a coin knife, once upon a time. Can't remember where it came from, or where it went, tho'. It wasn't an Ibberson, tho' - my rememberer ain't what it used to be. (Sigh)

Most of the coin knives I have seen were cheap.
All of the Ibberson knives I have owned have great springs on them.
Nice to know that someone made a quality coin knife.

Thanks for your responses guys. Seems there are lots of homemade coin knives where someone has simply pinned a blade to a coin. This is a quality made round slipjoint of the lobster family. Perhaps the term coin knife was inaccurate.
