All About Pocket Knives

Hello everyone,

I had a Lakota FinWing fixed-blade knife, made sometime around 1986-7. Unfortunately, mine fell over the side of our canoe when a buddy stood up to fight a bass, and the knife was out of its sheath, on the boat deck. BIG goof on my part... I want to replace it one day, hopefully soon.

My internet searches do not turn up much info,and there does not appear to be any on ebay.

Are these manufactured any longer? If so, does anyone know of a source selling these>

Did you ever find a replacement for your knife? Was it a Lakota Fin Wing? If not, check out this craigslist listing in the Denver area - the posting ID on the one I saw was 2493513412

I have one virtually brand new, still in original box...

I would suggest sending the original poster an email since he's not made a single post since he made the one at the beginning of this thread. It's not too likely he's checking for a response to his inquiry on a regular basis this long after starting this thread. It's been 2 1/2 years now.

I know this post is quite old, but I was hoping to get an original sheath for my Lakota Finwing. Tried to contact original poster but there seemed to be no link.
