Curious regarding value on a very special Digby Kelham Island folder.
just over 9" overall with 4" blade. Stag scales, German Silver bolesters the lower being finely engraved in floral scroll work. Back of blade as well as all the the exterior and much of the interior of liner beautifully file worked. Really a handsome knife and in exc. near new condition. So what do these bring these days?

Yes some very pretty stag. I bought it well over a decade back mainly due to the quality of the workmanship. I have watched around for some time and have not seen squat for Kelham Island knives for sale. I know Digby was about the top name for the Sheffield makers before he retired. Guess pretty specialized stuff.

i researched past sales on ebay, found one fixed blade, seller removed before auction ended, i would guess he got an offer that met his price.
