All About Pocket Knives

Greetings all,

Here's a knife that has been customized by Mr. Herman Williams. The original scales were delrin, and he has replaced them with wooden ones, I'm not sure what kind of wood they are though. As you can see in the pics, the knife is much thicker at the rear, and it has been finger-grooved to provide improved grip. Not that I'm ever planning to actually use it... Nope, not gonna happen.

That is a beautiful knife, typical of Herman Williams exquisite work.
Mr. Williams had a long, long history with Schrade... a relationship, really, as his work so impressed them at the factory. He gave many of his customized knives to Schrade, to be added to the factory collection. Sadly enough, those knives were probably among those now being peddled off by the scavengers that ended up with the booty of the collection.

I have his home address, but don't feel comfortable giving it out. He can be found on ebay, selling knives, under the name (if I get this right) electra_225. He may or may not be willing to address your quesitions.
