All About Pocket Knives

can someone tell me about this knife got it from a uncle that pasted and was wondering about it ie: its worth
on the display case it sez it from the gutman co. of mt. vernon ny but thier web site is no help to me
also got a nice benchmade auto knife its the reflex 2500 9''
but all the ones ive seen on the web say in the butterfly (benchmade ) this one sez(balisong )

Gutman was or is the sole US importer of Puma knives and this one sure looks like a Puma to me. Value...whatever the market bears.

Explorer is a name used by Gutman.
IIRC, many are made in Japan.
It looks like you may have an Explorer made by Puma.
Probably a very good knife.
I saw Gutman at the Blade Show West last year. At that time they were the sole US importer of Puma.
