I questioned the seller about the main blade. He said it was replaced but it is still a Remington blade. He said it was priced right, but it does have a reserve. I'll wait toward the end of the auction to see what its up to before I decide to bid or not.

Good morning Remington Collector

,
Is there a much of a market for "Modified" pocket knives or just the parts?
Thanks,
9ball
EDIT/UPDATED
To be honest, I would perfer or feel comfortable the term "Modified" instead of counterfeit or rework. Unless it has just been put together to rip someone off.
With all the debate, why, what, etc. over the future of Chinese made knives, I am beginning to look as these as investments in more ways than one.

That knife would be more valuable for parts than anything else. It seems someone is always looking for a good can opener, cap lifter, or handles. It could also be used as an everyday carry knife. In its present state there is very little collector intrest.
