All About Pocket Knives

Hello all,
This ain't my first post but I thought I'd tell you a little about myself.

I own and operate a custom screenprinting and sign business out of a shop here on the family farm. I help my mother run the farm and have always lived here, moved a trailer on the place after getting married right out of highschool and started milking. Now we run beef cows.

Been a custom knifemaker for almost 20 years now. Mostly make fixed blades but am looking at folders pretty heavily lately and want to try them soon.

I pastor a small church locally with a congregation of about 30 people.

I am Captain of a local all volunteer fire dept. and also am on 2 different hazmat teams.

AND I LOVE KNIVES!!!

Sounds like you and I have a few things in common. I live on a farm and do the beef cattle thing, used to be a volunteer firefighter for years, and I too love the Lord.

Oh yeah, I kinda like knives too.

Welcome to AAPK. I was raised up on a Dairy Farm. We milked 100 cows, and had that many replacements all the time. We raised our our replacements. Then the owner of the farm sold out to uncle sam. Then my dad and I began raising beef cows, we started out with baby calves, then sold them and began buying cows. Now I am married and raising kids and my one grandson. Been a long time christian, married a wonderful christian lady, whose dad happens to be a minister also. Would like to see some of the knives you have made.
