Rattlesnake is right on. The main blade is from a knife & fork set. Seller should know that the second letter for a Catt is the number of bolsters.Stamp says 1 , the knife has 2.

Hello Snowbird, It is a shame, and its a shameless bussiness of making a profit in the knife world. Most often I buy knives because of my love for them, not for the profit they might return me later. My grandpa and my father were avid knife hunters back in there day and its in my blood as well. I remember as a kid searching the small towns hardware stores with my father to relieve the owner of that big display board of case knives, and before long ending up at Tulsa Ok. to sell them for a profit. Boy has times changed. Internet is great. If we sold him our trash knives(counterfiets) we would be no better than the seller of that OLD CAT. Just food for thought. P.S. I have spent 1,000's of dollars on old knife books and catalogs for old knives, but nothing is more valuable than hands on experience, Just gotta learn the hard way, school of hard knocks.----Thx Mark
