Remington Scout Question

Hey guys I am considering buying this knife and I'd like your guys opinion on it's age and value if possible.
The knife has been refinished and looks very good. There are a few tiny spots of corrosion on the front side of the blade. The front ricasso is stamped remington umc in a circle and made in U.S.A. and the back ricasso is stamped R3333. The handles do not have any splits or chips.

Hello Tank, nice looking knife. I have a Remington Scout exactly like that one. It is marked R3333 also. Most Remington scouts are marked RS3333. There was a short discussion on this a short time ago on AAPK.
