Can any of you Keen Kutter Knife Collectors give me any information concerning the item pictured in this post . Bought it at a flea market around eight or ten years ago .

don't know about yours but i have found several catalog reference to anvils with the keenkutter trademark. they were similar to winchester, used to brand all kinds of hardware. i'll keep digging.

Keen Kutter had full size cast iron anvils made for them, but not small brass anvils. Check out Simmons Auction Company website. http://www.thckk.org/ The Hardware Companies Kollectors Klub is a bunch of Keen Kutter, Winchester, Shapleigh etc. collectors. They have a nice list of Keen Kutter , Winchester etc.fakes. I collected nothing but keen kutters for many years. Got where I could,nt find anything different. Now I collect everything. Sorry, but i'm kind of getting off track.

Thanks for all the responses , kind of smarts hearing that it is a reproduction , I still like it regardless , whether it is a reproduction or not , although , if it is a reproduction , I wish I had not paid as much as I did to get it ! I have a few vintage miniature anvils , most of them I am sure are not reproductions , but I have never found out anything positive about this one . It is made of brass . They are the same shade of color , but the picture does not show them to be , the light must have hit them a bit differently at the time I took the pics . I have a Panasonic Digital camera , and it is the most pathetic camera I have ever wasted money on . If you are not in excellent lighting , the pics usually turn out pitiful .
The anvil measures roughly two and five eighths inches wide across the top , and a little over an inch tall . The hammer measures a little over two inches in length . Is there any site that exhibits reproduction anvils of all kinds that anyone knows of ? Will check out the website suggested . Thanks gain .

I checked out the site you referred me to knife-cut , but the link for fakes showed no items at all , unless I overlooking something . Will go back and check again as for possible other links .
