new member getting started in knife collecting

need help! back of blade USA 6175 SS The front has CASEXX under tail off of C. The S is lightning bolt. Has x.x above and x.x.x below. Can someone tell me year and where it was made.

Hi Harbo,
Glad to have you join us here. Look around the articles section of this site. You'll find some interesting info on Case knives. They have a very interesting way of dating the production year of new knives.
