Sure is, what does it say on the blade?

I notice that gold shield that says "Rite Edge", is the same gold shield The New Schrades use on their "Schrade Classics" line.

Same factory????

I would not call it an "Old Timer" Look alike, the shield says what it is.
As for buying Chinese Made Knives, sure buy all you want. Don't be suprised when more U.S. Knife Companys close their doors and are sent packing over-seas.

SFC ADP,
YOU ARE 100% WRONG BECAUSE, IT IS A LOOKALIKE AND YOU HAVE SO MANY MAKERS TODAY OF CLONE KNIVES IT IS NOT FUNNY AND YOU WILL NOT STOP IT! AS FAR AS I AM CONCERN THERE ARE A LOT OF PEOPLE THAT CANNOT AFFORD A CASE, ROBERSON, BOKER ETC AND FOR THE PRICE IT WILL MAKE THEM TO AFFORD BUYING THE KNIFE. I AM NOT A SOLE COLLECTOR OF CHINA MADE KNIVES, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT IT WILL HELP THE MARKET AND COLLECTING HOBBY EMENSLEY! ::nod::

Here let me help you out,
If you like collecting those knives, hey go for it, it all depends on what you want out of collecting.
BUT:
For one I am not 100% wrong. It is not a Schrade Old Timer knife. It does not say it anywhere on the knife. Now yes it may have the same design and same scales, pattern etc. But it does not carry the Schrade name. Just like Rough Rider Knives may imitate alot of Name brand pattern and sell at a fraction of the cost, doent make it a Case.

You can buy 3-4 of 'those' knives, or you could buy one Case.
10 years from now, the case will be worth more than all 3 of those "other" knives combined.

When I was younger and started collecting, I went for quantity and not quality. Now I am stuff with a bunch of worthless junk I can't give away!
