I guess I missed those threads. Thanks for the explanation. Are the tangs marked? I need to watch out for those. They sure are pretty, and I love equal end jacks. Thanks again!bighomer wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2023 3:01 pm I've shown these in other threads, all are counterfeit, the story goes that there a man in Ky that made knives and put them in a bucket went to knife shows all over the country and sold them. There is several people that have made comments about said feller on aapk. These are supposed to be some that he produced, shame he didn't just put his name on them and sell them.![]()
Gary, you always have the coolest knives!kennedy knives wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 7:11 pm Hard to tell who made what? Have a Ulster Model 98 & a Schrade Model 881 with Federal Shield is about the only difference that stands these 2 apart love the Peach Seed Jigging which I think is outstanding on a knife. The Ulster has something on the main Clip point that I thought was interesting (Property of the US Govt). Very Light have to get it just right in the light.
Thanks for the compliments, appreciate the notice. Actually always like flowers for backgrounds and color splash in a pic. Thanks again.
Thanks but it's Bone the Ulster has on the Blade Property of the US GovtRidgegrass wrote: ↑Fri Sep 15, 2023 8:09 pm KK: Hate to be a doubter but could that bottom one be some kind of plastic? It looks shrunken at the bolsters. I have a Gov't. Schrade that is plastic peach seed just like it. There was a long discussion somewhere on the forum about those Gov't.issue knives. I hope it's bone, but....? J.O'.

Thanks bud, but unfortunately the "Chris Reeves" is $40 counterfeit. Nothing authentic on it. The other two I was told are fakes too, but they are so well done it blows me away. Thanks again.
Nice knives. Love that jigging. A similar one just came in. Walden 880. Thought it was an 881 when I pulled the trigger.
