I picked up these two from a collector friend recently.
A Cattaraugus and a Winchester.
I had been wanting the Catt for awhile, we finally agreed on a trade.
The bone on that Cattaraugus makes my mouth water! That knife is impressive!
Thanks Rev!

This weeks mail call. Very rare eye cut by Canastota knife company Canastota New York 1875-1895. I had just acquired the boxes a couple of months ago and then the Barlow shoes up.

Got this one in a trade (beater users for some parts knives). A bit beat up, but it's a knife I can throw in my pocket and use the heck out of without caring what happens to it, as it's a typical, low-dollar, shell-handle knife. In my opinion, USA-made shell-handle Imperials give you the best bang for your buck. This deinitely saw a lot of use on a farm--I had to out piles of dirt and 40 year old hay that was packed tightly into both blade wells. Both blades, especially the main blade, have pretty bad wobble. Not enough to be unsafe and unusable, but irritating. Sharpened up quickly and easily, as expected.
It does have a shadow of a New Holland ad on it. Need to find both this and the Kutmaster New Holland Barlow (which I like better, due to its stamped "NEW HOLLAND" bolsters) in mint condition. We ran New Holland hay equipment (with John Deere tractors) when my Granddad was making hay. All of our equipment was Sperry New Holland, so the Imperial is more period-correct .

Those are the first that actually said "KA-BAR-LO" that I have actually seen. I've seen reference to it in a list of Kabar tang stamps, but never saw one sold or even here.

Added another spear blade Winchester Barlow, this one is different than the first in that it is smooth bone and the spear is a long pull with a swedge.
