This knife was given to me by Gary Pasko , it was in a lot he bought .

It's been a field of dreams for me, I built it and they have come.

John (1967redrider ) found one for me that I bought.Charlie Noyes has alerted me on several, Mike Losicco has given and sold or traded several. Florida Bob has found several and early in the game it was knife shows.Roger Cunningham has found some for me.
They're hard to buy or find at shows anymore.Word is out.😊
A good friend Duncan Morgan ( Campbellclaman) alerts me on eBay examples .
I have many friends who have helped me over the years.

I've never even seen a farmers jack in real life in all my travels and hunting.

I stroll on over here every now and then to check out Lyle's thread to see what's new in the farmer's jack (his) world. Such interesting knives. A great place to see nice old bone.

I had a great Central Ky Show. Sorry, I forgot
to take pictures. Again , an excellent antique knife show. Missed Phil this time.
I was supposed to buy another one of these at the show, but it didn't happen for a couple reasons.

The original Paxtons Knife ( a farmers whittler) by Joseph Rodgers . 4 1/4" sway back gunstock

I just hadn't gotten there yet 😊 but yes. And there were several handle options.
Pretty nice and Ryan got the jump on me with the shadow pattern. I was going to try for a GEC SFO that had a run of shadow patterned FJs this year. 😊
