My German / Case xx collection. German consist of German eyes , tree brands , buck creeks , fighting roosters and a bulldog & 1 hen & rooster. Mainly case in other.

39 pages of some very nice stuff here folks !!
Q ,great idea for some sharing and fellowship.
Collecting Camillus and military knives has been my focus the last 5 years or so . Before that was anything that caught my fancy . Still pickup a SFO or club knife now and then but do “ try “ to stay focused . It’s getting harder to find pre 1950 s stuff in good shape . It’s out there but in other collections . Some say the older stuff isn’t selling as well but in the right circles that’s not so true . Some of the old US cutlery stuff is getting a good price .
So these are all Camillus from 1902 w/ the arched stamp ,thru the 3 and 4 line stamp and some no line and short line stamps that would date 1946 to 1950 ,IIRC . All function properly and get some pocket time now and then. They’re currently getting there yearly physical so here’s a few pics .

I recently bought a 13 piece Wendell Carson collection. This fiddle back whittler is one I am keeping in my collection. Red seacow bone, and gorgeous. Thought I would update the Whittler collection photo. Not all my whittlers just the non Marbles and GEC’s . There are more Wendell Carson’s from this collection I am eyeballing for my own collection, unless someone buys them before I cave in.

Mark, those Whittlers are also impresssssive! One of my favorite traditional patterns.

Thanks Q and Kevin. I like that humpback whittler pattern too. It would make a great pocket carry knife. The pull on all of these is easy so it would be one that you could open easily for small tasks. Not sure it would actually make a good whittling knife, but it is a good looking whittler anyway.

I enjoy seeing pictures of everyone’s knives here, it’s fun to see things I’m not yet familiar with so thank you all for that. I’ve reached the end of a journey in acquiring the last of the series of the entire Case Tony Bose Collaboration Series, Literally the missing 6 in the last 2 weeks. Yes I”m broke now, literally. But tomorrow I’ll post a group photo. Every single one of these knives is a masterpiece in my opinion. Some of the patterns like this Arkansas Hunter I didn’t think much of by the photos but the photos don’t do many knives justice. I found that out pretty quick. Some that I didn’t think I’d like, I ended up favoring. This is one of them…
When I first set out to collect these, I thought I’d go ebony for every one, but that didn’t last long…
I’ll post the final result tomorrow.

Congratulations for completing a worthy goal and on your fine collection, Gus. The Case/Tony Bose Collaboration knives truly are the highest quality modern American made factory produced traditional knives and the closest to custom handmade knives I have ever seen.
