Spent Wednesday fishing on the Oceanana Pier at Atlantic Beach. Steady catch of small and a few medium Croakers, Spot, and Perch; that was fun - used the lively one to liveline for Cobia on another rod/reel set up for them. No Cobia, but a fine day - new Buck 110LT was in it’s element. OH

Thanks John & Dogg! My original Buck Stockman (later known as the 301) came back from the Buck Spa this past week. The Buck folks did an outstanding job refurbishing the knife. OH

Thanks BK, I don’t think you will be disappointed (especially for a mere $7). OH

I actually have a few that could use a makeover, maybe I should send in my '67 with the '66, kind of a Schrade-made twofer for under $15. Hmm, I also wonder if they could fix a non-locking spike on a #315 Yachtsman?

Larry, I did take a “before” photo when I obtained the knife - it looked like an electric sharpener had been used to sharpen the blade. OH

I bought a Buck 055 when they first came out, about 10 ? years ago. Never used it and now cannot locate it, but it is here, somewhere.

Picked up my first red handled 300, a 1990 #303. Either it came smooth or it was heavily used, (the knife is in good condition so I suspect it came smooth). Why? Because it was red!! This one goes in for the spa treatment I think.

Thanks Bert, I suspected it came smooth. I don't know exactly why I popped for this one, not a significant year for me, (I like to commemorate family birth years with knives from that year), and I have several other varieties of the #303, guess I was just dazzled by the color. It breaks up the monotony of the 'ol Buck box if nothing else, (non SFO Buck box that is, they all live in a showcase). Now I have red #303, yellow #301 and a cool little #305 Clipper in blue.

Thanks Old Hunter, I'll add that to my "must have" list, it seems searching out all the colors and versions will be a life-long vocation.
