All About Pocket Knives

Those Congress knives with all four blades different make a really good carry. I had a four inch German Boker like that which I carried daily for 15 years in the 1970's (like my math?) until I completely wore it out. I have another one now, but I haven't started carrying it. I think this one is stainless but the old one was not. Stainless is good in its own right, but it just never gets pretty (if'n ya know what I mean).

Nice scales. ...kinda odd...they both have the 3 ring bolsters.

Got this '93 Bulldog Sowbelly in the mail yesterday … (sorry for the cell phone pics)

These knives were made during the time Charlie Dorton ran the company, really the finest Bulldogs ever produced IMO! And with that etch on the blade I wouldn't, you damage that etch and your knife's value will decrease by at least half of what you could hope to get. I have always been tempted to carry mine as well but haven't for that reason. Sowbelly Bulldogs from that era are still in very high demand! It's a real stunner OnEdge!

Those are some nice ones. I love to go hunting or fishing for knives, if you luck up and find a good one. It makes it all worth while. I have sworn off buying, but i get the urge and there I go again. I was going to sell my collection, and eventually will have to, no one close to me collects and no one to go with.
