Stopped by a small flea market /parking lot market , and got these from a guy that lived near the Schrade factory at one time.He had a few more of the 1250 (white scrimshaw) in the box ,they were still in the plastic wrapper but the lubricant is stuck to the knife, not sure it will clean off the white handles.

knifegnome,
Way to go! ::tu:: Looks like you hit a jack pot today! There appears to only be a couple of raggedy ones in the pile. ::tu::

Well here is one I found in Missouri. It is a very well made knife, but is it the real deal or a well made reproduction? Tell me what you think.

Made my weekly visit to one of the Gun shows in search of a few additions to my addiction. Found a New York Knife Co hobo knife in a pile of misc gun accessories for $4. I don’t collect hobo knives but I knew this company ceased business the 1930s. Any info members can provide about this Knife would be appreciated. I also found an unmarked knockoff of a Swiss Army Knife (Swiss Champ). Again this was in the same pile with gun accessories. Another Case (Peanut) was found along with a Hen and Rooster Congress. Other than these pickings were pretty poor[attachment

Great finds, Dave. ::tu:: I wonder how many folks still use ice picks or for that matter ever used an ice pick? We used to buy ice by the block for our water cooler when I was working at land surveying as a young man. The ice was available in 25lb blocks, we would split it in half with an ice pick and each half would just fit in the corrugated metal water coolers in the back of the Willys jeep wagons we worked out of. Boy oh boy! That was a long time ago, about 1965 or so. ::hmm::
