Picked up a batch of Aerials. The one without scales was gassing and I removed them, which was a shame because the blades are really nice. The smaller Coke is starting on the reverse scale so that will come off too but the rest are very nice. I love the big picture hunters. ____Dave
Knice score Dave!!

From the gun/knife show, zero old knives but I did alright on two modern knives and only bought them because they were cheap. Gerber Bear Grylle (I'll try this one out at work) and a SOG flash 1 with a safety and side lever lock release. I paid $15 for the pair. The dealer also had a new Benchmade for $100 which I believe is a good price but I didn't need it so I passed. ____Dave

DJ,
Some good pick ups on those two, and the price was right. That Bare Girls knife (yeah, I'm being facetious

) is not a bad knife and is decent for medium type work. I have one similar to it, and I've used it around the house and outside for small tasks. It wouldn't be my apocalypse, end of world knife though.

That little Buck 309 was made in the early 1970's, by Camillus.
The first Buck knives [66-67] were made by Schrade.

I got the little Simmons at the Red Barn/Vancouver Flea Market and the fixed at the Abbotsford swapmeet. According to Orvetβs old post, the Simmons is probably quite the senior citizen! I havenβt looked up the fixed yet.

Picked up a couple of knives today. They have been used and abused but I liked them. I liked the bone on the Pocketeze and I like Bokers so I couldn't let them sit. Nothing fancy folks. Thanks for looking.

WW, I bet both of those see woodwalking time. Sweet old knives.
