Daddy went to a gun show yesterday and picked these up for me and brought them to church this morning. Nothing high dollar, and definitely used. But not bad for $5 a piece. ::tu::

That's the way to find 'em Wade, send Dad out to get 'em! ::tu:: The 72 sure looks great, you'll have to make the little nick in the clip a wire stripper. ::nod::
I also came home from church with a another knife. After service this morning, one of my friends said he saw a red Case Trapper and thought about me liking red knives so he bought it. I wondered about it, he went to his car and came back with a brand new Trapper. He said if you don't want it I'll put in my display. I couldn't turn it down so I paid him what he had paid for it and told Miss Joy she had just bough me the Valentine present we had looked for on our little road trip last Friday. ::tu::
Nothing special just a pretty red trapper, the box says Dark Red Bone Standard Jig. The date on the box is 01/20/20 but the tang is stamped 2019, one X.

Wade I'm going to send your Dad a $20 bill and he can buy for me on the halves. Those 1st generation 72's are always special. And the Camillus camp knife is a WW 2 knife isn't it. Great pick ups. ::tu:: ::tu::

Sweet trapper Philip. Nice when someone is thinking about you. ::nod:: ::nod:: ::tu::

I like CASE trappers too! Very nice.

Wire stripper is a good idea. I bet it’d do it.

lol. Dad can snoop out deals like that. I can’t do it like he does.

I think the camper is a bit older than WWII, but I’ll have to clean the tang up a bit first.

Not on Scott’s level, but a decent haul for Vancouver Island.
A 20 oz to go with my 12 oz stacked leather Estwing hammer. I sanded, oiled and lightly waxed the leather.
A J. Clarke & Son 1943 British Army issue jack.
A Klien three bladed electrician’s knife. I thought the hawksbill was different.

MT
Does anyone know the meaning of the ”T” stamp on the Estwing? Year?

Wow, those hammers are neat, MT! Any idea on dates of manufacture?

Thanks. I like the stacked leather and the fact that they give me a few hours of fun cleaning them up. They are probably not very old. ::shrug:: I believe the “T” stamp on the base plate is a date stamp, but can not find any information explaining its meaning.
