Keeping with the Tip Top theme, another Tip Top showed up, this one Pre WW2, 4 line tang stamp and Sword Brand stamp, full pattern number, later ones just had 10 or 11, spear or clip. Not sure on the covers, some look sawcut ebony and some sawcut synthetic, if synthetic not sure what Camillus used as most vintage synthetics schrunk with age and I've never seen these barlows shrink.
Very very nice score John . That old 4 digit pattern number sure held up well. It’s hard to tell with the dark dye but that could be bone !

I recently picked up this Kent gentlemans knife which it is my understanding was made by Camillus between 1931 & 1955. It has nice snap opening and closing. Very sharp nice little knife! I am figuring probably late 40's to ealy 50's. Enjoy.....

I found a few Camillus knives at the Oregon show last week. Not all of them are pre-1960 but the 69 at the top of pic definitely is. I wish someone had not put a homemade clevis on it!

I just finished rebuilding this old Camillus from two knives. It had a broken secondary, and the other had a broken scale and primary blade, so between the two, I got this knife. I'm glad the bones did not break any further--there are a few chips, but I didn't add any new ones...

I dont know if true but when I got it, I was told it was on a/the Camillus factory collection board? No matter, it's one of my favorites.

Wow!! I dont know how I over looked that Easy Open jack, that is a great save. Heres a survivor that I just picked up and haven't even cleaned up yet. That must make 3 or 4 different Tang stamps on same pattern for me now. I know Imperial and Pal also made them. Probably others

Yes, several makers of the Naval General Purpose (?) knife from WW2. The name might have been Utility instead of purpose. Lovely.
