Tony, you may be a bit shocked when you open the pkg I just sent off to you.
I was going to send you these three
But, then I remembered how much you HATE Barlows, so I sent you something else instead!
Hey, if it's true that ones man's trash is another man's treasure, then I think you'll enjoy your new "treasures"

I love the POS exchanges but it seems like every year we have a couple new people who don't take the warnings seriously and think they really don't need the hazmat suit or they really don't need a gas mask.
It's so sad, every year we lose one or two newbies who don't heed the warnings.

I didn't send anything too toxic this year, at least nothing lethal...

Dale, I hope the mailman doesnt pass out before he or she makes it to the mailbox.

Reverand I'm sorry it had to be you, but somebody has to deal with that smelly pile and I'm glad it's not me any longer
Expect the worst come saturday if usps is on time. I hope you have a pump since that's the only way to get the old steamin' pile out of the box safely, do not touch with bare hands!

I guess I had become kind of used to all of them, they resided in my shop. Must have killed my sense of smell. This afternoon I walked into my shop and thought I was in the wrong place because it didn't smell like it used to. Our dogs came in and started sniffing the air and then growling at me until they got closer and recognize me.
Oh well the dogs and I may not know quite where we are for a day or two until we regenerate some more POSs, but I'm good with that! Getting started already on next year's POS Exchange!!!!

You thank your stars this is a family forum...
Jon, I started pulling some knives out already but I've gotta bring home the industrial-strength gloves to really start digging through my POS box so I don't run the risk of sepsis. I'll be aiming at getting a nice care package

out to you Saturday but it might not go out till Monday, and by then they may be more inclined to ship it in a hazmat disposal unit than a postal truck...

Keep a nose out for it... You'll probably smell it long before you see it.

I gotta re-think the whole approach now.
I have a box around here someplace with some knives that could have a chance to live again in the hands of such a master mechanic.
Your package should go out tomorrow morning.

While you...you poor boy...got my missile- um, I mean
missive!
Please excuse the general messyness inside the package. I had to throw stuff in from a distance. I think something tried to bite me.
Your postal carrier will appreciate the efforts I took to make the package odor free, at least from the outside.
There are a couple of extra treats, besides th POS’s. Enjoy.
I mailed it through Canada Post and didn’t get tracking as it would have cost twice as much. According to the receipt, it did go via air, so hopefully it should be pretty quick.
Quick, but not painless...

I hope the porch pirates don’t get it. I really don’t want to be responsible for anyone getting sick. There are some things even PP’s don’t deserve.

Cletus Awreetus, just boxed up your prizes! Need to wash my hands before I go any further. I'll put them in the mail in the morning as we go by the post office. I'll PM the tracking number later.

That's cool, it gave me an opportunity to"follow my nose" to a few additionals for your parcel which should raise its shipping tier to "requires biohazard labels and a quarantine" class. I hope you like celluloid, rust, and mystery handle patch gunk.

Tony, I'm sss-oooo sorry once again..and..I surely don't want to be mistaken for walking around with my chest out..but celluloid, rust, and mystery handle patch gunk identification/repair is my area of expertise.

as a matter of fact, I take screen shots and also offer instructional videos of repairs..here my most recent one, from the top : getting started and tools required..nextsand and clean..next: blades..next:handle repair..next : custom work..and finally, the beauty of the end product.. for a detailed video that includes the " make handles like a guru " recipe book, please send $35 (cash only ) to: learn by mistake, 555 walla walla, Washington

Old Cutler, I would not want to be in your shoes today. I just got an update that it is OUT FOR DELIVERY, pity the poor neighborhood and postman.
You have been warned. Better put in a call to FEMA and the EPA right now. For your sake, don't open the box.

Thanks Mike. Linnea's daughter lived in the Phoenix area several years ago and named their son Payson. Yes after the town of Payson.

Just saw this that’s cool! I love this town.
