Tim thats a anglo saxon whittler marked Peter Hendrichs and Grah, Solingen circa 1922 to 1926. Goins spells it with a k instead of a ch but I'm sure it's the same. Parkers Knife Collectors Encyclopedia has a article on knife museums and shows a F&W Hendrich, Merscheid Industrial museum. Iprobably should have identified the pics.Slim

Forgot one. This stockman is marked EIG Cutlery Solingen Germany. Found it in San Antonio a few years back in an old hardware store. They had two others still wrapped and oiled. Shoulda grabbed them all. Slim.

Ya know, I was wondering if there was a "NON" GEC stag thread....I'm not saying I don't like GEC stag knives, I just don't won one so I can't post pics of my stag knives in that thread, but alas........in this thread I can

These three are the only stag handled pocket knives I own anymore; an old Belknap Tear-drop jack of unknown vintage but fantastic steel and snap, an unused Case Texas Jack Centennial edition, and a Case Eisenhower that I have used for at least the last decade as my dress pants pocketknife. I have owned quite a few stag handled Case pocketknives over the years, but they are my favorite to give as gifts and many are now owned by my nieces and nephews - received as HS graduation gifts - I gave them out before I took pictures of my knives (and before the Sanbar stag embargo about a decade ago).

Wow, lots of beautiful stag in these pictures. Tim, don't know anything about the brand of knife you have there; it is like a Swiss Army Knife, but of high quality and gorgeous!

Here's a nice old rope knife I got recently. And when I say nice I mean unused but with a patina that someone lightly polished off. Not bad for being around 100 years old.
