Those two are beauties, indeed.

I don’t really pursue Robeson branded pocketknives anymore. I am a Terrier Collector, but when I was buying Robesons, I never had an opportunity to own one of these, so when it came up on Ebay a few weeks ago, I couldn’t help myself. Kind of like old guys buying the desires of their youth that their parents wouldn’t buy or allow.

It’s not mint, excellent or good, I suppose, but you gotta love those backsprings.

You weren't kidding about a good go with for your easy open Kevin! That EO is beautiful!

One doesn't often see the kind of accuracy displayed on springs like this.
Who could ignore that.
A real catch there, Charlie.

I’m very excited to have this piece back in the hands of a Robeson lover. A very early “Premier” stamped whittler. German made. And what a whopper of a knife. I absolutely love it.

Added a new to me tang stamp to my collection! Very excited for this one. This pearl handled whittler has the “R.C.Co. Genesee” tang stamp on all 3 blades and is marked “Germany” on the small pen blade. This stamp is said to be 1891-95 in the book “Knives Can Talk”.

I will absolutely do that in the next day or two. I have several boxes luckily. The advertising and ephemera is just as exciting to find as the knives for me!

Good stuff there! I noticed the hardware sign in background, I had relatives from Newton.
