Came across one of the recently discontinued Buck 302 Solitaire pocketknives at a gunshop earlier today. Decided I may as well own it. OH

The Buck 110 Auto arrived today. This knife is "tight as a tick"! It was manufactured on 2/5/18. (Talk about "factory fresh", a knife doesn't get much newer than this).

The knife is so tight that it is slower to open than my "round button" leaf-spring conversion (These are the best of the aftermarket conversions on the market today. I'd be willing to bet that this will loosen up over time. The Buck quality abounds in this 110 Auto. I couldn't be much happier.

This is Buck craftsmanship at it's finest.

This little 525 Gent from 2010 came in the mail today. I paid too much for the condition it is in, but I always wanted an all stainless 525 and I haven't seen them offered very often. I'll take it to work and have a go with it on the buffing wheel to see if I can get some of the scratches out of it.

Yep Dogg, 440c. My two line (bought several years ago from Cal here at AAPK) keeps an incredible edge - clean/butcher two, even three deer, touch it up on ceramic sticks and the edge stays and stays. OH

Here you go, a Buck 118 three line with inverted tang stamp - made in 1971, came today from an ebay seller. OH

I seem to keep tripping across Buck deals lately; probably portends an upcoming dry spell! Gunshop today, 2009 Buck 110 finger groove- a variation I’ve never owned. OH

I recently bought this 74-81 112 ranger in mint condition for $40 from a buddy of mine who found it at an estate sale. I was wondering what a retail price on this knife should be. Thank you in advance.

7wounds, welcome to the AAPK and the Buck sub-forum. A two dot Buck 112, mint used condition with sheath but no box or papers, would range from a low of $40.00 (a great deal) to maybe $80.00 max. I wouldn't pay more than about $60.00 myself and only if I needed a variation it for my collection. You can find them in pawnshops for about $50+/- (negotiable) frequently enough to not pay more. Post a picture. OH

Would you guys happen to know if it’s a defect that this 112 doesn’t have the thumb nail grinded on the blade? Thanks
