Very nice.

First thing I did when I got home is changed clothes. Second thing was use Shoe Goo on a boot that came part way apart
Now that I think about it I think I'll grab this one. Nice and slender.

Thanx Jerry love them 10dots I have one in a Texasjack I use for special occasions.

I picked that one up at the Cave City Gun and Knife show while Bro. Phil and I talked to the feller who used to be the curator of the National Knife museum. I'd been looking for one ever since you got me hooked in them. I picked this one up and then at another table I bought a 6 dot loomfixer that was real nice. It was a good day.

Thanks GD. Back at you my friend. I love the 92 Jack and EDC a pretty bone USA from time to time. Great pattern. Love the bone on yours and admired it in previous posts on this thread. I can see why it is a special occasion knife for you.

GD inspired me to pocket the USA 6292 today. What a great Jack (in my opinion) at 4" with a big pen secondary.

Also, have the XX 62087 at 3-1/4". Fine Jack as well.

Niether knife has half stops. Having or not having half stops is not a deal breaker for me personally. I like both actions.

Yes Sir JerryD, a great jack. Liked the pattern so much I pulled that one pictured out of my collection into the EDC rotation. Almost a shame to do so as it was near mint plus, almost as old as I am and never had seen a pocket. Only have one other, a 95' model. I just enjoy it more in my pocket than I would if I had left it in the collection.
Very functional, perfect size and certainly not bad to look at especially with the NS liners and pins.

Do you have one you EDC? Please post a pic if so.

I saw the knife from Rob, fine work for sure. EDC or not, fine knife and not a POS for sure. If that is the type of knives you get in the POS roundtable, I may have to participate in that.

Not something you can count on but now and then there have been a few nice ones floating amongst the plethora of smelly stuff.

Was talking and researching 65s yesterday so thought I woul carry my 65 EDC. I have a nice old sheath for it but even at it's size (5-1/4") and weight, I personally don't mind to pocket carry it.

Jerry, can you briefly explain the frame on your 65 which is different from my 65 case xx and has packawood scales? No circle around Case on shield. I see where you mentioned different frames on these knives in a different post.

Sure Joe. Certainly not expert and especially on this pattern but I did some research yesterday (Steve's book and others) and looked at my few examples I own.
In a nutshell, look at the blade side bolster on my knife and compared to yours. See how my knife has a "ramp up to a sharp hump. That is the XX frame. The USA frame (like yours) has a "smoother transition" from the liners to the bolster tip, for lack of a better description. No sharp hump like the XX frame. According to Steve's book, change took place around 65', but some USA stamped XX frame 65s exist but are scarce.

Your knife would have to be post 73' due to the comp shield.

No expert but that is what I know. Hope it helps.
