Scott, you picked up some good ones today! I wish I lived close enough to go there every Monday. I was hoping to make it on August 26, F-I-L's birthday is the 24th but Miss Joy has a dr. appt. the afternoon of the 26th. It's an amazing place, glad you are able to go. I've never come away empty handed.

Here is yesterday’s Cloverdale swap haul.
There’s an Erik Frost Mora, a Buck with a replaced pin, a nice bone MX Custom and a cute little German fixed.
I liked ‘em, so they followed me home!

Ann, the picture of the one you call an MX Custom is a bit blurry. What is inscribed on the shield? I'm not familiar with that name but it caught my eye being it's a Muskrat style pocket knife. You're giving Scott a run for the money, always bring in some interesting knives! ::tu::

Here you go!
It actually says ‘Mfg in China Nat’l Headquarters USA’.
I really like the honey coloured bone. I got that one, two others, brand new in the package, that will be part of a ‘bomb’ and the Buck for $15Cdn total. Got ‘em from the same fellows that had my special edition SAK and my little bone Case butterbean!
Triple F, as usual, you keep getting treasure and I keep drooling on ‘em!
This round it’s the two little three bladed beauties in the bottom left. ::drool::

At the Cambridge Mn. Antique show today from one dealer I bought a J.Primble stag folding hunter with blade etch, unsharpened, a Western 532 with deer etch, and a Case XX 2229 1/2 slick black (Tadpole), all three for $200. Later I found an antique Wyeth Hardware Mfg. Co. stag fishtale jack for $100. One the way home at a rummage sale I picked up 5 much less valuable knives mainly because they were cheap ($50 for the lot) including a mint KA-BAR USMC 100 year anniv. in a Army sheath, a Uncle Henry mint 153 UH, a decient Schrade158OT, a near mint Uncle Henry lockback in it's sheath, and a Schrade 6-OT in really good condition in a beat up sheath.____Dave

Here's another shot of the cheapies. The 153UH sure has a nice sheath that comes with their knife. I have no idea why the USMC stamped knife come with an Army marked sheath. ___Dave

AAPK members find some beautiful specimens!
Here are a few (perhaps lesser) of my recent finds:
A Schrade Walden 804 that was in rough shape with a nasty melted spot and general delrin fatigue. Part of a 1 for 3 knife trade for a shiny, but worn, bone stockman from Japan. I sanded and CA glued the melted handle. It dried much darker than hoped. Your thoughts on staining the light spots would be appreciated.
A Premier bare headed celluloid jack. I liked the longpull, swedge and funky scales.
A GAK Victorinox with a tipped main blade. Less than an eighth inch was missing. I wish people would stop prying open things with thin blades!
A friend found me a great little Pal Blade Co swell end jack with nice bones.
All nice additions to my non mint eclectic collection.
I remain in awe of your finds,
MT-Vessel
