Beautiful EO OMN, Carl! I've been a big fan of the red birdseye maple ever since the "Bradshaw Syrup Maker Special" of 2023.

Lookin good! I'm hoping to do another knife in 2026, if I can get the funds together. I just did a job switch, so money's tight at the moment but hopefully sunnier days are ahead.

Picked up the Amber Stag counterpart to my big ol' Burnt Stag Tuna Valley Lockback at the Shepherdsville show Friday.

Wow what a nice looking pair of knives!

It's been a bit since I posted a new Tuna knife here. I've got a handful I need to get photos of. Here is one of my newest ones, the new Mountain Cougar pattern. This one has blue curly birch handles.

This is a neat one. The Rooster Comb pattern knives were released under the Titusville Cutlery brand in many different handle materials, however there were a handful that got the Tuna Valley stamp just as a novelty. Although usually Tuna Valley knives normally use 154CM steel blades, these were made with the 1095 high carbon steel since the production run was part of the Titusville brand. This one is marked as a salesman sample, and has the bolsterless shadow pattern burnt stag.

I agree, I love the look. Structurally without a bolster, they aren't as rigid to hold up against hard use (unless a support washer is utilized like what Sodbuster patterns often have), but visually I love the knife this way.

Another of the cougar swinguard knives with clip blade. This one in Orange Curly Birch.

I do like the curly birch in any color.

Here is the knife in the same orange curly birch handles, but this one with a spear blade.

I'm liking that Curly Birch in all the colors but the orange is especially striking Love seeing the two different blades, too

I too am a fan of the curly birch - like the 3-dimensional look it has ... that orange is very nice

Thank you both. Ya the "curliness" does really pop if you move it back and forth in the sunlight, there is some nice depth to the wood.

Another different one to show. This was a 2015 sample made muskrat pattern in jigged brown bone.

Here is the Cougar with clip blade, in amber stag handles.

I admit, anything with Amber Stag catches my eye I really like the design of that swing guard, too

Thanks! I agree, they have a lot of depth to the color. Out in the sunlight you can really see it in the orange.
