Based on the price tag it is around 1984.
I'd love to purchase that at that price today!
:D
It was purchased for $38 at Ebay. I think that now it is a good price  .
That is indeed a good price. Good score.

I have two Camillus's to show today.
One is a Tl-29 type, I believe, that I got for a very reasonable price and it is in pretty good shape.
Great half stops on the blade and screwdriver and nice walk and talk.

I don't know the model of the other one but it's just like a Schrade 340T in size and pattern[Stockman] except
the sheepsfoot is serrated. All 3 blades look like factory edges and are extremely sharp.
It is stainless steel and looks like it's never been used.
I'm liking both of these Camillus and used the Electrician today at work.
Thanks for looking, Harold

Here is one I posted in the fixed blade forum, but I know not everyone reads it.

I found this knife Sunday morning at the fleamarket.
Sportsmans knife d.jpg
Sportsmans knife b.jpg
Sportsmans knife c.jpg
I knew I had seen it before but couldn't place it.
I told my wife on the way to church after the flea market that I thought it might be an early Kastor import made before 1890 & the McKinley Tariff’s requirement that knives have the country of origin stamped on them.

Thanks to a link from a friend in Texas to a BF posting by Michael I found information he had posted years ago about this knife. I was exchanging info with him on another matter and sent along the picture of my knife and he confirmed it's origins, and graciously loaned me some of his pics to post.
Kent Sportsman's -frm ML.jpg
It seems I was wrong partly at least; it was not an import and not nearly that old, but it WAS a Kastor knife, actually made by Camillus for Woolworth stores under their Kent brand.
The pattern dates to the mid 1930s. Michael said it was the only one he had seen without the Kent name on it. He thought it might have been made for Sears or Kresge.
The Kent name was used by Camillus for Woolworth from 1931 to 1955 according to Goins.

For more info and more pics see the following topic in the fixed blade forum, especially the 6th post in that topic.

Like these?
Camillus 4 line fixed blades.jpg
It is easy to see they are similar, but without the guard.
Of course adding the guard would have added to the price and Woolworth had a 10¢ maximum price at one point before they raised it to 20¢. After that is when Camillus started making a lot of knives Woolworth stores.

.....those are identical to mine, dale....one of mine is in very good condition, with the sheath..it has an edge on it that is almost razor-like. I noticed a 9" on ebay the other day that is identical to these except for the length....... ::tu:: ............

Here's a couple of new TL-29's
I only opened one for pictures, keeping the other tight!

I have one older "29" I carry and another used one I recently purchased.
The latter one turned out to have the protruding lower part of the blade[the kick?]
broken off and the blade dulls when closing. At least I think that's what happening. Upon getting it, I sharpened it as it was very dull.
After carrying it a day or two and only opening and closing both blades, not cutting anything, I noticed it was dull again. That's when I saw the damage!
Anyway sorry for the ramble, If it's possible to fix the broken one I would love to. "Dale?" I included pics to show the problem TL with a good older one beside the broken guy!
Thanks for looking, Harold [producer]

Camillus #14 showed up in the mail box today. Rough brown handles puts it in the late '50s - early '60s. It's in very good condition. I'm going to use the sellers pictures since they are very good. This is a very nice and much overlooked pattern.
