Thanks Joe, I like old knives that show honest use also, whoever had that EO knew how to put an edge on a knife, it's a razor.

Couple decent early Camillus jacks, a 3 line with arched pen easy open jack and a nice bare end 4 line jack, this knife with hammered pins and early bone is an example of why I don't believe the tang stamp charts for 4 line knives.
A couple of Home runs there John ! Very nice early Camillus knives .
Will agree with you on the 4 liners and the dating !! Just looking at that bone and the hammered pins like you pointed out. In any case ,great pieces
Thanks for posting those .

John, those are 2 great knives . Again you have came up with some old stamps ,beautiful pieces!
Just received this EO with the arched stamp on the pen and 4 line stamp on the main . Stamped 3229 on pile side of the Spear main. Knife is in great condition ,lot of blade left and excellent snaps . So what’s the first year the 4 line is said to have come out,1919 ? Would this put it closer to 1915 ? Any case ,really like this period of knife collecting. Getting harder to find the older stamps with the different combinations.
Take care out there.

4 liner, both blades stamped nice old bone covers . Blades have been buffed or cleaned in some manner. Nice snap and half stops on both blades and doesn’t appear to be much blade loss. Could use a good tune up and oil then it’ll go with the other 4 liners . First one of this period rope knife with this stamp . It’s just over 3 1/4 inches long closed. Very happy to bring this one home and the price wasn’t bad !
Happy Labor Day weekend out there everyone
I've never seen a rope knife with a manicure blade (if that's what you'd call it). It's so cool.

I'm getting ready to sell my Camillus collection and I thought it would be nice to post a picture of it beforehand, so, here it is. I have over 200 and I think that most of them are pictured here, at least the best ones:

Very nice Collection!!
If interested how would you like us to deal with this ? Are you selling as a whole or by the knife ?
Seriously interested in a number of the 4 lines or older if selling by the knife.

I don't know much about this Camillus two blade folding knife #2504. It is stamped with the "Sword Brand" logo. The tang stamp shown here is known as Camillus' three-line straight stamp. I believe this stamp to have been used on knives manufactured from 1916 to the early 1930s.
Anyone have anymore info?

beautiful collection - how many years did it take and were they all individual purchases or was another collection taken over? Spectacular

I fished this old early 30's to mid 40's jack knife out of the shallow end of the bay. Walk and talk are excellent. I am pleased to add it to the family. Thanks for looking.
