M390, those are pretty sweet, Dan. I noticed the Blade Forums etch, are they Club knives?
Yes, they are the BladeForums 2020 traditional forum knife.

This is a cheapie, found it at a stock feed store in a country town, no maker or country of origin but was only $15US, so i thought what the heck. I tru-oiled the covers and had to straighten the blade edge on a stone, had a slight curve in it. I am in no way comparing it to some of the fine cutlery being posted, but it is a nice little EDC work knife, and i now have it razor sharp, and it keeps an edge a lot better than some of the lot more expensive knives i have.
Nice find cudgee!

It looks great, it's sharp, it holds an edge & it didn't cost too much. That checks all the boxes of a great EDC in my book. Congrats Buddy!

I like it!

I second that motion.
Here's one of the "New Queens" made in China (SMKW). I must admit that I was hesitant to take the risk after my experience with the SMKW China Mini-Trapper fiasco. But, I decided that for $16.75 I could afford to gamble on it and, truth be told, I'm very glad I did because this China-Queen Amber Sawcut Bone Wharncliffe is actually very well made; certainly comparable to (possibly even slightly better than) any Rough Ryder I've owned. I have no complaints and, in fact, I quite like it...a lot!

I think you'll be happy with it, jerryd, despite having only one blade (I know you're more of a two-blade guy). In fact, I liked mine so much I actually bought a second one (one for each hand!). In the interest of full disclosure, however, I must admit that this knife is not entirely flawless; as you can plainly see, it does have a cockeyed shield placement (I noticed the same thing on the one Treefarmer got as well)--which really is not that big a deal (except, of course, to a certain OCD Monkey who can always manage to point out the single thorn on the stem of an otherwise beautiful rose

) Fortunately, the shield on my second one is not tilted, so there's a chance yours might be OK too.

There were four things that outweighed the single blade. First and foremost was of course the Wharncliffe blade and then there was those sawcut bone handles. The price had a large impact on my decision but the thing that put it over the top was ~Q~'s opinion of the knife. That sealed the deal for me.

I thought for sure you would've mentioned the grooved bolsters, jerryd...I thought that was one of your preferred features.

It's here. It avoided the porch pirates and was in the mailbox when I got home yesterday. Excellent!! If you don't have an aversion to China made knives, (along with ~Q~) I recommend it.
