Yes, when I saw that GEC made a cigar pattern like this; I had to try and find one. Fortunately we have really kind members at AAPK and one of them reached out to me as soon as I posted that I was looking for one.

This little GEC 14 boys knife is so light and compact. Forget it's in the pocket sometimes. Love the shield too. Here with an old Keen Kutter.

I've been carrying a GEC 651122 jigged red bone Ben Hogan Northfield. The 65 is one of my favorite patterns.

I find any knife useful. Is it practical? Probably not. But it's fun to try out different blade designs.

Thank you for the kind words. As someone once said; "Life is too short to carry a cheap knife." GEC is certainly one of the best slipjoint manufacturers in the world. I also love the Solingen made German knives in carbon steel, damascus or Bohler N690 blades. I have an old jigged bone Case CV stockman with punch that I use for rougher work.

Carried this one exclusively for a long time after Ivoryman was kind enough to sell it to me. When I got this one, it kicked the lambsfoot out of my pocket for a month or so. Now I switch back and forth between the two. The pictures are from when they were new, they both have significant patina now.
