Here's an oldie I got my brother for his 40th birthday last week. His name is Kent and I thought he might get a kick out of it. Kent NYC made for Woolworth stores from what I gather. Seems to be in good shape, blades still have decent snap and the scales are good.

I like these little pen knives Greg, I'm sure your brother will too. It's got his name on it which is a bonus.

The Kent knives were made for Woolworths by Camillus.
Nice little knives for the price in their day.

Well here's a couple more I added to my growing collection of Shell Cells.
The 1st is a Hammer brand, my first. It looks to be in near mint condition, looks more like NOS to me. Very interesting handles I thought, orange stripes over a black squigly thing.

The 2nd is not near as new lookin but it's an Imperial USA, has the sabre main blade, kind of a black and tan handle for lack of a better description.

a static pattern motif.
Has some blade marks and pits but overall in great condition.

Perry,
with a little imagination you could think of those handles as horn.
Great looking knives!!!

You're right Joe,,,lol. Hey Monk, I'm gonna try some micro paper that Dale suggested from Jantz. If I ever get a chance to do it with all this singin I've been doin, it should work.

Hay singin, is that a stamp on the pen blade of the Hammer Brand or just a reflection?
You've got a BIG score there, my friend!!
The Imperial wrap is indeed made to simulate horn. It can be found on there "cameo" series
knives, with one version depicting a long horn steer.
I believe they are shown near the end of the '59 Imperial catalog!

This Northwoods moose rail splitter came yesterday. The arrow head shield, slanted and grooved bolsters, swell center design, multi-colored burnt stag handles and heavy duty construction give me much pleasure. Also, it compliments the ebony one I already had.
