Very nice! If I counted correctly there are 32 drawers, what a find and great restoration! ::tu:: I believe Miss Joy would let me keep one like that in the front room! ::tu::

Thank you Sir and you're correct on the number of drawers. The bottom 2 on each side are 2 1/8" deep and all the others are 1 1/8" deep.

That looks like a fine piece of furniture and serves a very useful purpose as well. Great job on the restoration. ::tu:: ::tu::

Refinished the wood with “Howard’s Restore & Finish”; cleaned and polished the brass latch and hingers; cleaned all porcelain drawer pulls; added the brass label holders; added royal blue felt to each drawers.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Well done!!

Thanks Steve. I was trying to work indoors with ambient light hoping to get some shadow play but I wasn't very successful.

The Ka-Bar 1003 is a nice stout knife and the blades take a shaving edge. I recently developed a liking for large jack knives (or redeveloped one) and snagged the 1003 fairly cheap on fleabay. It was going cheap because a previous owner had boogered up the blades. I was able to straighten them up with minimal blade loss although they still have some grinder scratches and now have an excellent user......and use it I do. ::super_happy::

Man Dave you did a wonderful job on the restore! Mmmm Mmmm Mmmm!
I have a special place in my heart for woodworking, it gets me every time when i see something like this!
And add restore on top, you have the perfect picture IMHO!
Now i really want to get out to the shop to start my cabinets project, and finish cleaning up my old licence plates. But only so much energy to go around. Especially after shooting a 45-70 Marlin Buffalo gun yesterday. Man that thing was brutal! Literally blanked out from the recoil. That gun puts the fear of God back into me! And add a bunch of other makes, one fun day! It was Wolverine Days, Virden MB. No licence to shoot any weapons! Even could run an M2 .50 BMG! Can't do that any average day.
The 2 Barrett's really scared me. Those things are brutal. The shockwave they produce is horrendous. Standing over 50' away, when that shockwave hits, it literally vibrates you. My eyebrows hurt every time they got hit. In other words,
AWESOME!
Also shot 10 rounds each through Browning .22 lever action (superb) and Browning .22 buck mark pistol (superb). 5 rounds through Browning 6.5 creedmoor (superb). 30 rounds of Browning 12 gauge shotguns, 20 through BT99 single shot break action (superb). 10 through 725 Citori sporting, over under (superb). How many times do i have to say it? Browning make wonderful firearms IMHO. Tried out the new X-Bolt Max Long Range in 6.5 Creedmoor. Again really nice rifle! Has some kick, but not bad at all. Stock is very comfortable, adjustable stock comb helps a lot. Bolt throw is very crisp and positive. Stock grip is very nice, fits the hand very nice. Trigger is very crisp, almost hare. Muzzle brake helps with recoil a lot, especially this is a large caliber rifle. Top tang safety is extremely handy. It uses a rotary mag, so you can fit 5 rounds of 6mm creed, 6.5 creed, 308 Win, 4 rounds of 300 WSM, 26 Nosler, 7mm Rem. Mag, 28 Nosler, 300 Win. Mag, and 300 RUM. Rifle retails between 1,639.99 to 1,729.99 cnd.
Good price for what you get.
All in all a great day!

Man, Willy...I've shot a lot of guns, in my time...but never remotely came close to shooting that many different ones, in one day ::tu::

Thanks! Started cataloguing all of my knives with a magnifying glass shot. Sometimes they turn out a little too close up for most people to be able to identify the knives but it's just something for me to use as a record of what all I have and have had.. occasionally they turn out pretty neat looking though.

That's how I got started taking pictures of knives. I decided to catalog all of the knives I have and I include a pic of each knife as well as a detailed description. Then I discovered this thread and started to try a little creativity. I'm not a good photographer by anyone's standard but my abilities have improved a great deal since I started. Believe it or not, I started creating pictures of my knives using a flat-bed scanner.
