Tony, Nice pic. Did you make that Higonokami? And where the heck do you get peaches this time of year?

Thanks, Mark.
No, I did not make this one. Dug it from bottom of a box of knives at a sale.
The peaches came from Georgia. Sweet and juicy. I live in the “Peach capital of Missouri,” but we are still a month away from the good ones.

I thought the clash of colors would be interesting. ::shrug:: The "prop" is a 5 pound chunk of pink/rose quartz.

It's a beautiful day. I decided to take the twins (Camillus 26) out for a stroll.

Tried playing with an LED light source to catch the fire in this MOP. I was only partially successful.

There, on the edge of the savanna, a small herd has appeared.

Charlie - you did a fine job catching the fire in that Queen. Very nice pearl on that knife! I have also tried LEDs and other stuff to try to get the perfect pearl shot. It is not easy, that is for sure. I still think I have had better success with late afternoon sunlight than with any other light source, when it come to photographing MOP.

Greg - nice bunch of pachyderm proboscis protectors you have there. Cool photo!

Greg: while in the Navy I went to Mombasa Africa and went on Safari to Mount Killamonjara and never seen a herd that nice!! :) I did buy some Teak woodcarvings that were very nice though! :)

I first noticed things happening with Scott's photos a few weeks ago, certainly back in May. He has moved into a new realm or level of photography. Very nice workmanship indeed.
