....."Ahem,..you have the right to remain silent, you have the right to an attorney, should you be in need of an attorney.....!"
Just teasing, CM62, your collection of pearls is most impressive!
At least if you're in prison for possession of an endangered species, I'll be there already to keep you company, for my automatic knife indiscretions, both very serious crimes that make me wonder how we operated with immunity all these years before they caught-up with us!

You're not kidding, Tim, you sure do like colorful. If you were using any of those beauties you certainly won't have any concerns about losing it. I immediately spotted a Rough Rider model, the turquoise/black canoe, and it's because I recently got my copy. I was pleasantly surprised when I found it's a RR knife. Cool n' colorful display, buddy!

Thanks Tony and Mark. Knives like this are just fun to have and cheap, too. I imagine I have less than $500 invested in the whole lot!

Each sub-collection here is a winner. Chickenman, a fine sampling and quite an interesting variety from various countries.
Tivic, you have definitely achieved color. These must brighten up any collection.
I commented elsewhere on your scrimshaw wolves. Similarly, my eyes find the head on approaching bear compelling.

This is a collection of AG Russell's Texas Ranger Commemoratives. The first knife at the top had the incorrect date etched on the blade. I believe only a very small number of these error knives were run when the mistake was caught. Beneath this is the corrected knife. Click on the photo for a closeup view.

Very serendipitous post, Garry, as I just happen to be currently reading "Comanche Moon" by Larry McMurtry (4th and final book in the Lonesome Dove series). Beautiful Texas Ranger Commemoratives collection!

That is a nice collection of Texas Ranger knives. I think I’ve owned all of those over the years. The USA made ones are exceptional.

What a sensational group you have there, Garry, I have a copy of he T/R toothpick along with the T/R gunstock, and it shouldn't surprise you to hear that I bought them both from Mark on 2 separate occasions.

Glad I timed this for you,Q.
SSK, I agree. The rest are very sturdy. I am not very fond of lock backs.
Marco, as a using knife I favor the very bottom one.

A couple of sub-collections that I have. My favorite whittler pattern #48 Fiddleback whittlers. Two Wendell Carsons and 3 Robeson by Queen.
The others are all Case knives. I stopped collecting Case knives a few years back but still pick up a few when they have some really distinguished scales on them. These were produced only for very select dealers, that was what I learned at the time. Not sure how many of each were made but it was a low number. I really like the snake skin jigging and coloration on those two. Case has always had some of the most unique and beautiful scales used today.

Love the IRISH GREEN family Mark!!!! I'll have to put mine together for a family shot.
In the meantime, here's a military family...
From left to right, Ka-Bar, Kalashnikov, Ontario, Ka-Bar, Camillus, Case and the two demo knives are Camillus (USAF) and Queen (US).
