You’re welcome Rick, that has to be my favorite folding hunter of all time. I like the bolster lock on these and the Japanese quality is top notch. Glad you like it.

TopDog, those are two nice MIIs. Looks like both were made in the same place in Japan. Probably G.Sakai.

I like those, Dog, and just realized they're not from Gerber. I prefer their non-serrated model though!
Used in a fight involving Tommy Lee with Steve Segal using one of his throwing knives in, "Under Siege".
Nice fighting daggers!

::uc:: Tommy Lee & Steve Segal were in "Under Siege"? ::shrug:: ... I thought the movie was about Erika Eleniak popping out of a cake at birthday party ::shrug:: ... That part was burned into my memory ... ::oh_my:: FOREVER!

Nice TopDog, that first one is sweet. Never seen that one before. Looks very well made. I don’t know recognize the name of the craftsman, wonder if her did these in the 80’s or 90’s. Being made of 440 stainless makes me think 80’s early 90’s. I like the CS knives. I watch them every day on eBay but haven’t pulled the trigger on any yet. Nice collection.

Very nice, Dog, I too like the first knife the most and haven't previously seen it, I commented on your Cold Steel in another thread, and I just don't care for your Spydie, but as a fat singer once said, "two outta 3 ain't bad!"
Wicked!

Got in another Seki City Paragon Dagger today.
Fully intended to sell it when purchased, but after receiving, it goes too well with the dark handled one I have just like it.
So, I got me another one. ::facepalm:: but :D

Very very nice Tony. I’ve owned those same knives for many years now and they are my favorite daggers. Both look great. Congrats.

Smashing, Tony, I got my black model from Mark awhile back and it too is my favorite dagger! What could anyone not like about this knife? I viewed the Rosewood model also, but ultimately the black stole my heart!😍
Great minds and sets at work here! ::groove::

Thanks Mark! Glad you said rosewood ... I have been trying to figure if it is rosewood or sandalwood. ::tu::

I said Rosewood due to how bright it looks, Tony, if I'm correct Sandalwood is darker, but I am waaay far from being an expert on exotic woods, so S-wood may be right. ::shrug:: ::hmm::
Black micarta, Rosewood, Sandalwood who cares, it's a spectacular dagger whatever the covers are!

On a hunch I checked Paragon Knives @ ACKnives.com , Tony, and saw 2 copies with black paper linen micarta covers, and 1 with rosewood covers. Unless he made them with other exotic wood than rosewood as well, I guess we have to assume yours are rosewood. I'll say it again, beautiful dagger!

Found this one last week...
Hattori Made Valor 334 Super Sport Mint In Box 5 1/4" Closed ... 9 1/2" Open
As Mark has stated here before, there is a difference you can see and feel about Hattori made knives.
Excellent run up, fit and finish, and a solid, tight sound opening and closing, with smooth travel.

This is uncanny, Tony, I commented on your Valor in a different thread, but when I saw your Fury my jaw dropped! I've wanted an all-metal Laguiole for a looong time, but the prices have been ridiculous so I haven't yet pulled the trigger. Kindly tell me where you got yours at a reasonable price! ::pray:: Thx!
Those great minds sure are hard at work!

Your jaw will drop again .... $6 at auction off the Bay. Another seller is asking $450 for the same knife ... a ridiculous price.
