I pick up a couple of NOS 72 variants over the last couple of weeks. Both new in the box with paper work. A Remington R 14 and a bone handled Ole Smoky.

Tommy the keyword there is had. You useter have one but in January of 2013 you had a fit of generosity and sent it up north to live. And I appreciate it very much.

Thanks Tommy!

Very kind offer!
But I was just joking around.

I just like em. They are beautiful!

Such a mega cool pattern! I don't really know anything about them though. I have one that I bought from Jeff. He did his "Magic" on it and it's beautiful!
Just got it out & snapped a few shots of it so I can show it off here.

I carried it a couple of days but I was sooooo affraid I'd screw it up, so it lives in my showcase again.

Enjoy the pictures!
Wow! Look at that main blade!

Look at those scales!
WHAT A KNIFE!!!

That is a beautiful set of scales on the 72.

Beauty for sure. Now excuse me while I clean the drool off my keyboard.

Added this one to my Camillus 72 Clones family today. A McGrew Arkansas U.S.A. swell center whittler. It is like new with the original box and papers. No cracks in the handles, blades have their original luster, no wobble on the blades and beautiful snap. I took these photos right after taking it out of the box.I feel lucky in finding this one and very stoked to add it to my collection.

Very Sweet PB. That will make a great EDC. Seems to me that the blades are often abused on the 9494's. I guess as they were bought as a tool. That one will serve you well.
